Wigston College students deliver Christmas cheer to the local community.

Deserving local elderly citizens see the benefit of our Christmas spirit.

Tradition runs deep at Wigston College and this Festive Season we continue with our annual Christmas Hamper Appeal for the elderly citizens of Oadby & Wigston.

Since 1998 our pupils and staff have designed, built and filled their hampers producing a creative array of hampers from nativity scenes Polar Express, Christmas Past & Present, Christmas Post Box and the more traditional baskets. 45 hampers were produced this year and these have been distributed across Wigston to our elderly citizens chosen by Age UK.

Our thanks go to our judges, Amanda Bailey, Dawn Arnold and John Dutton who had the difficult task of judging and to our tutors, teachers and associate staff, students and parents for their generosity and support throughout the successful process. We hope that we have brought some Christmas cheer to our neighbours.
