There were some incredible results for 2015 and credit must go to the students for all their efforts, the work by the staff and the support from parents.

Our top 3 students this year were Chloe Berry, who achieved 8 A*s and 2 As. She was followed closely behind by 6 A* s and 4 As from Caitlin Goodall. Matt Harrison gained 6 A* s, 4 As and a Distinction in his BTEC Sports Award. All three students took their Chemistry GCSE a year early in 2014 and all gained an A* . There are so many fantastic performances – too many to mention!

Many students move on to study A Levels but we also had some notable performances that will enable students to move into their chosen apprenticeship or further education course.

Sally Cox, Principal said “There has been some really pleasing outcomes for the students concerned. The college has shown significant improvements from last year,” she added “This demonstrates the hard work of the students and teachers. The buzz this morning has truly been exciting and uplifting.”

Colin Gore, Governor said “It has been a privilege to be here to witness and share the success of our hardworking students who have been supported by good teaching. The college has an excellent Sixth Form and I hope to see many of them continuing their success here.”
