Chris will be riding alongside us so please donate to keep us all going!

We also made it into the Leicester Mercury today – take a look at the article here.

For the past 4 years, the PE department at Guthlaxton College have organised numerous crazy 24 hour challenges, raising thousands of pounds for Sports Relief. This year, now as Wigston College, we have decided to add a twist to this tradition. Former student, Chris Mark is currently cycling from Alaska to Argentina, in aid of Wishes for Kids, and in memory of his sister. The PE department have therefore decided to use cycling as the focus of this year’s challenge, supporting Chris and raising money for both Sport Relief and Wishes for Kids.

Staff, students and guests will be using spin bikes to try and cycle the distance from the capital of Peru to the Bolivian Border  (or Beyond!!), where Chris aims to be around the time of the challenge. We will be showing the challenge on a Webcam, so you can stay updated with progress.

If you would like to support the challenge and help change lives for the better, you can donate in the following ways:

www.justgiving.com/Wigstoncollege (to support Sport Relief)

www.justgiving.com/chrismark (to support Wishes for Kids)

or – TEXT: WCPE99 and amount (e.g. £5) to 70070

Thank you very much for your support!!
